Applying passport for my new born son

Post by muhammad2016 » Sat Jan 16, 2016 3:12 pm

Hi Guru's

I got my ILR before my son born, My son was born last month in December and I got my ILR in October 2015. Shall I apply his British Passport straightaway or I have to registered him first under MN1? and what type of document I have to attached with the application
I already registered my son in our local council.

Thanks very much for help :)

Your son is already British, apply straight for the passport :)
(Assuming your son was born in the UK of course)
I guess you'll need to send your son's long birth certificate, proof of your ILR and any other necessary documents specified in the passport application guidance.
All information given is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.

The parent with settled status is relevant.

Just follow the passport guidance:
