Applying for EC- Proof of Accommodation & Job search

Hi All,

I am in the process of applying for EC. I have a few questions,
request you all to please respond to them.

1. Regarding Proof of accommodation in UK, I do not have any
friends/relatives in UK who can sponsor my accommodation. Also, I am
planning to travel to UK after Feb 08 only. What can I do for this ?

I have heard doing hotel booking is sufficient. Can someone point some good sites where hotel bookings can be done at a cheaper rate.

2. Regarding job search, just showing a few mails of conversation with
consultants is okay to satisfy the EC officer of the job requirement
in UK?

Please reply asap so that I can take appropriate steps.
