Workpermit to hsmp

Post by mamatha » Sun Dec 09, 2007 5:34 pm

Hi Everybody ,

I'm applying for HSMP from within UK . I'm working on Workpermit since 1 year and I'm scoring 90 points .

I have all the 12 month payslips from the company , but I want to know what exactly Formal Payslips mean and how can I conclude whether my payslips need to be duly signed and stamped.

I'm stressing on this because I dont want my Employer to know about me applying for HSMP.

Thanks a lot in Advance ,
Mamatha

If your payslips are online printed on a4 size paper, then sign and stamp it otherwise there are chances of getting rejected.

Why you dont want to let your employeer know about it? If HO desire to verify your job where they would call?

If the payslips are Original (as opposed to photocopies) and on a company letter, they are accepted by the HO, irrespective of whether they are on A4 paper or otherwise.

If the payslips are electronically generated and transmitted to you by email, and you take a print-out on a standard A4 sheet paper, then you need to have these signed and stamped by the company. Else these are not considered acceptable evidence.

There are many reasons apart from HSMP for which you may request your payslips to be signed and stamped - viz., loan application or just plain personal records... You know your organisation best, but I'd suggest you be prepared for the HO wanting to speak to a representative in your organisation (e.g., someone you trust).

Hi jagankumar,

The way you describe your payslips, they seem original and they can be used as they are (without sign or stamp).

Please get the "A4" thought out of your mind. Payslips need not be on A4 sized paper. I myself receive payslips that are about A5 sized, but are Original hardcopies and not electronically generated.

Cheers.

Hi Thanks, for ur immdt response, Juz now i have checked my payslip, Under the column, NI And Table it states only "A", no other my NI Number. does my payslip still valid? I Have got tax return filing certificate for the period of Oct-05 to Mar 06, and another one for Apr 06 to Mar 07.
But I cant find my NI number over there.
