Naturalisation

Post by Anndeep » Mon Feb 15, 2016 1:42 pm

I got my ILR on 19 March 2015.

Can I book an appointment with National Checking Service for 15 or 16 March 2016?

I am NOT self-employed, do I still have to submit salary slips or P60s?

Employment is not a pre-condition for the privilege of citizenship.
If an employee, HO will crosscheck & verify your HMRC records automatically.

Are you married to a BC?
If not you need to be free from immigration time restrictions for 12 months before applying.

And whatever date you choose to apply, can you prove you were physically present in UK 5 years ago to date of application (= date of NCS appointment)?
(5 years previous - assuming you are not married to a BC).
