Tier 1 dependent maintenance funds? Personal/Business bank

Post by obedaq » Fri Feb 12, 2016 10:43 am

Hello All,

Thanks for reading this.

My husband is on Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa and I am his dependant. His visa expires on 07 may 2016 so as mine.

Do I have to send my application with his or have to wait?

His business statement covers the amount £630 for 90 days until we send an application.

However the personal statement only have balance of £630 showing from 10 feb 2016 onwards, which is around only 85 days to the date of visa expiring.

Can we use the business statement to show the requirement?

Note: My personal account doesn't cover the enough balance for 90 days too.

Please advice.

I would really appreciate.

YES, you should apply as a dependant of Tier 1 at the same time given that your Visa expires with him.
You need this form: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... _11-15.pdf

Assuming that both of you are going to apply for extension, your husband must be able to show he has kept at least min of (£630 + £945 = £1575) in his personal bank for at least 90 consecutive days to cover both of your applications. It also must be in his personal account under his name.

Hello Zimba,

Thank you so much for your reply.

We having a bit of challenge now.

My husband's personal account doesn't contain £1575 for 90 day until the visa expires.

Can he shows his parents account from overseas(India) and add his name to the account too.

Account in overseas contains enough money to cover the 90 days period.

Will this maintenance funds be okay to show for his(Tier1 entrepreneur) and my visa (Tier 1 dependant)?

Please advice.

The account statements must be under his name.
Also the bank in India must listed as acceptable by HO. See: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... stitutions
