Tier 2 Long Term ICT Dependent Visa

Post by harshitguptaiitr » Sun Feb 07, 2016 12:27 pm

Asking on behalf of a friend.

Mar 2010: Tier 2 Long Term ICT Visa Issued, extended multiple times till Dec 2018. Can't apply for ILR as cost is above £1000 (outside budget)

Mar 2014: Spouse granted Tier 2 Long Term ICT Dependent Visa, extended till Dec 2018.

Since Visa of spouse was issued after Jul 2012, does it affect the number of times or years that spouse can get extension?

Thanks.

Also Spouse is unemployed.

Does that mean spouse cannot get Indefinite Leave to Remain ever, if the couple chose to apply in future?

Spouse will only get dependent extension for as long as you do but can extend again once/if you get ILR. Her unemployment should not affect her ILR when/if she qualifies after 5 years residence.

ILR fees are increasing on 6th April. Current fee is £1500

Thanks.

I thought there was a minimum wage requirement to get ILR and that is why I asked if the unemployment will have any effect on the application (if and when it is applied).

Not for a Tier 2 ICT Dependent as they are not 'sponsored' by an employer.
