Post by hunpak » Mon Feb 22, 2016 5:55 pm

can my wife (Hungarian national) apply for British citizenship? she gain her PR in Jan 2012, sh was employed till Oct 2014 since than she is stay at home mum looking after our 2 children (both british citizen).

she has passed life in uk (2012 )and language test (2016).

she has not claimed any benefits other than child benefit, we are worried that as she hasn't worked for last 15 months this will effect her application?

Employment hasn't been a requirement once she acquired PR.

Does your wife have a 'confirmation of PR' card as well as having acquired PR back in 2012?

Note A PR card (certificate) is now one of the mandatory requirements for a naturalisation application.
