Clarification on Applying Naturalisation for spouse and kid

Post by karthikeyanG » Wed Feb 24, 2016 12:58 pm

Hi,

My scenario is:

I am here since 2008. My wife came into the country as Tier1 dependent in Aug-2009, She left the country for giving birth to child on Mar-2010 and returned back with kid on Sep-2011.

All the three of us got ILR on July 2013.

My question is: Can I apply for Naturalisation for my kid and wife along with me, now?

Kind regards,
Karthik

No because your wife was not 'physically present in the UK' around this time in 2011.

Kid application should be fine.

Wife can apply after you receive approval as a Spouse of BC based on 3 years residence or she will have to wait till September 2016 to apply based on 5 years residence.
