EEA Family Permit Dutch Citizen

Post by MiraMira » Fri Feb 26, 2016 7:10 pm

hi all,

I have been reading many topics but some of my questions are still unanswered and i hope you can help me guys.
I am applying on behalf of my partner who is living in iraq for an eea family permit because i am from holland. i am living and working in the uk. i have collected all needed proofs in terms of our relation, my work, our accommodation, marriage certificate etc. But the problem is with the Visa4UK form. its very complicated, i have understood that english language is not required as this stage however they do ask whether we can proof the english language. and secondly the permit should be for free but when i proceed to book an appointment i have to pay $900. Am I doing it right? I am really confused.
Please advise me!
Thank you!

I think you are looking at the wrong application form. EEA FM is free and definitely not $900 and definitely not English requirement. Are you perhaps looking at the VAF4A form (spouse settlement visa)?

Do you have Permanent residence? How long have you lived and exercised treaty rights in the UK?

EEA FM details are in the link below

Char (CR001 not Casa)

Hi, so I tried again to do this application. it directs me to VISA4UK what do I need to select as visa type? Is this maybe related to my issue with the payment?

Although when I select the country it directly tells me there an additional payment for this country.

Please help!!!

This comes up for Iraq
Please note there is an additional fee to use the Visa Application Centre in this location. This fee will be added to your visa fee during the payment process for this application. Important information: once you have completed your visa application and made your appointment you must create an account on the Teleperformance website at uk.tlscontact.com. If you do not create an account on the Teleperformance website this will delay your appointment at the Visa Application Centre.
