thanks a lot for your responseshnooks1 wrote:You should wait for expert opinions but maybe I can give you an idea. I was married to my husband for only 3 months but we lived together longer than you have when I was issued a permit. Besides the required documents we sent 3 years worth of bank statements from our joint account, about 50 pictures of us together with friends and family, a declaration letter from my husband stating that he would be exercising his treaty rights, and a short statement describing how we met, our relationship, and our plans for the future. We are they same way and don't often use texting or skype to communicate but we were fine without that.
In my opinion you should be okay with what you have if you include your photos but maybe someone will have more suggestions. Just try not to give an unnecessary large amount of proof because it may do more harm than good.
I can't help you with the next steps because my permit expired before I had the chance to use it.
Good luck. I wish you the best.
Even though you lived together for a while and you obviously have a legitimate relationship, I still highly recommend sending your proof. They are keen to deny the permit for any small reason.wish_uk wrote:does these supporting documents e.g pics, chats, letter etc are required by the couples who are living together after marriage for a long time like 18 months at the same address?
These are all very good to send.shnooks1 wrote:and I just have few things.
our address cards (same)
bank statements (same bank/address) but not joint account
our trips pics to GERMANY, DENMARK AND PARIS, hotel bookings and airline tickets.
have thousands of pics. but I can sort out some of them
but whats app chat history contains same repeated texts like , kisses hugs, miss you , love you like this. not have long conversations

You definitely won't need thousands of pictures. Sort them and choose around 50 that you and your spouse think would best show your relationship. I would include some of the trip photos. Before I sent my pictures we wrote the dates and the locations on the back, for example: "Christmas morning with family- 2011" " Vacation in Florida-2013" ect.
I would also include the texts. My husband and I send the same kind of short texts to each other but we didn't have a way to save them.
If you also decide to send any statements like the ones I listed above, be sure to have someone else proofread them for grammar and spelling mistakes.
Again, I'm just a random bored person who likes to read these forums and happened to get the same permit, so this is all just my opinion. If you're still not sure what to send I would wait for someone more knowledgeable about the subject to reply.
