If you mean you answered Q1.23 then not sure that's correct!

The form says go to Q1.23 if your B1 (or higher qualification) is on the Home Office’s list of recognised tests and was taken at an approved test centre.

If yours is not a SELT taken at such a test centre then it doesn't seem appropriate to answer Q1.23 (eg by ticking Trinity).

I have ticked on the option .

I have a speaking and listening qualification in english at B1Cefr or higher .that is on the home office list of recognised tests and was taken at an approved test centre ( go to question 1.23)

And on section 1.23
Where it says tick to confirm which body awarded your test I have ticked on
Trinity college of London.

Is that OK? ?

No!
You have misunderstood the question & completed the wrong part.

In Q1.22 just check option for KOLL used previously. That is all.
met the knowledge of language and life requirement to qualify for settlement on or after 28th October 2013;
If you claim to have a SELT you may be asked for proof & then be failed; just like another case reported today.

our situation was similar ....applied for nationalty along with my wife ion 24 november 15 still waiting for outcome ........after speaking to home office and ncs staff we just ticked option and never submited certificate with an application

Please tick
AN Form Question 1.22 wrote: I met the knowledge of language and life requirement to qualify for settlement on or after 28th October 2013
Even, If you leave this(or any other questions) un-ticked the NCS will help you fill the form correctly.

Good Luck

Relax, its not such a big deal;
the reason you pay NCS is to have them help sort out these little details - so you don't make a big mistake & risk your naturalisation fee.

From what you said I should tick on the option that I met the life s d language requuirement to qualify for settlement on or after October 2013..

HAVE U ALSO ticked the following option ..hopefully your application was accepted. .as I'm not able to find any post regarding the successful applicants who had ticked the following option ..

This is a first refusal (I seen on this forum) based on the 28th Oct 2013 English Language rule; Specially, the AN form Q1.22 clearly suggest that no new tests are required as it is already met.

I am still convinced that it is a human error; however, senior members or those who were (if any) refused on the same ground in best position to explain.

Hello all ..
Just to update I have a applied for my naturalisation application and passport application today at NCS. ..
The Lady there called up the home office to enquire about the English language requirement and they said I'm OK to apply work my current t certificate for which I used for my settlement ILR visa in Feb 2015. ..
And she said it's OK to proceed with the application. .she has also put a note on the application that she double checked it with the home office. .
So I'm keeping my fingers crossed. ..and hoping for the best. .
Will update my whole experience on the JCAP application post to ..
Thank you all for helping me out.
