Can any one advice as what rights we have being a stamnp-4 holder vs EU citizen in Ireland?
I have the stamp-4 as my daughter was an Irish born citizen. I am here more than 5 years and my citizenship application is in process. Last week I had an interview for the job and got an email stated that" you are a very suitable candidate for the post however many EU candidates were there which worked against you". they interviewed 12 candidates for 6 posts and there were 6 EU citizens. I am not sure where this was the correct decision as my understanding is if we have stamp-4, which is considered as the equal rights to an EU citizen in terms of recruitment, employment and living in Ireland. I may be wrong. Please can some expert advice in this matter?
