Citizenship as spouse of British citizen

Post by Anusia » Fri Mar 04, 2016 10:43 am

Dear All,

I have received PR status last month and I am wondering if I can apply for British Citizenship on the basis of being married to British citizen?
Let me explain my doubt.
I'm from EEA country, my husband as well. He received British Citizenship in 2013.
Booklet says only that the requirement is to be married or in civil partnership on the day of application.
We have been married for 2.5 years. Does any requirement exist about how long the marriage needs to be or it doesn't matter?

Thanks for your help

Yes you can apply now as the spouse of a BC.

Suggest you post your questions in your own topic to avoid confusion.

Question moved to its own thread to avoid jumbling & confusion with other post.
