FLR(IED) Processed,Got extension for next 3 years

Post by aj77 » Thu Dec 23, 2004 1:26 am

I applied for FLR on 13th of Oct 2004.Sent Urgent Treatment Request on 9th of Dec 2004 and got passports back on 21st of Dec 2004.Having Residence Permit Stamped with further 3 years Extension with an invitation to apply for ILR after completion of 3 years.Passports of my wife and daughter also have same stamp of Residence Permit.

I worked as Security officer and I also got Child Tax Credit and Working Tax Credit too.So one thing is clear thatyou can get extension by doing any type of job not necessarily related to Professional field.

It is also cleared now that CTC and WTC are not considered as Public Fund.
I am in contact with IR and will inform the forum about the final outcome of my Tax Credit situation
I am thankful for all the members who participated in Tax Credit discussion and special thanks to mwazir for his outstanding contribution in providing very useful information to other board members too while resolving their immigration issues.

Congrats aj77!! It is really cool!, despite not in your profession, CTC etc.. But you could share your application details like how much bank balance did you show, what was ur profession, How did you justify your stand being securtity officer. Most importantly what was the reason for urgent treatment?

Thanks,

Regards,

Baskey

Congrats -= That is the beauty of the current HSMP scheme....

Well, that is "food for thought"!!

Did you supply evidence including letters showing that you have tried to find a job in your field and failed :?

It defeats the logic of Q's 41 to 44 of the FLR-IED form

I can envisage that in the future the form may be revised or the HSMP scheme is revised somehow.......

I ope you get a job in your field soon - best of luck for the future and have a fantastic x-mas (i hope you wont be working on x-mas day  )

Well as far as Bank Balance is concerned.I sent them 3 months Halifax Statement showing a balance of 7500Cr.Showing my salary coming in to the account regularly.HSBC Bank statement showing a balance 1000Cr and salary coming regularly in previous five months.Bank Statements of Natwest and Nationwide were also sent but with little balance and fewer transacrions in them.
In addition to those Bank Statement ,I attached the statement of my account in UK s leading Stock brokerage house. As I invested some money in Shares listed in LSE and NYSE.

But I feel three months Bank Statement of one Bank can also be enough as according to my understanding they just check Salary is coming properly in the Account or not? and even 2000Cr amount should be enough for them to understand that you are capable to support yourself without recourse to Public Fund.
My profession was Finance Manager and my account with UK s leading brokerage house proved useful in assessing them that I am Utilizing my Financial Experience in Stock Market effectively.
But again I would say it is not necessary to work in your Specialized field as you need to be economically active only and with some funds in your hand not necessarily in a big amount as they did not reject any case yet on the basis of less Balance according to my knowledge.

I attached two Rejected Job Applications for Finance Manager to show that I tried to get job in my profession.

And about Urgent Treatment Application.I just filled up the form and faxed them alongwith scanned Medical Report of Mother's Heart Angeography and an email from my sister to visit them as soon as possible.

I got some response from IR too I will inform about that later too

If anybody need any further information he can ask I ll try to provide the maximum information I have.

Clearly, you have demonstrated to get a job in your field - unfortunately without success.

You have managed to be economically active as well...

...Also you have shown that you are unlikely to depend on public funds as shown by your good bank balance.

Your case was successful - and I dont see any reason why you would be denied an extension.

All the best
