regarding spouse visa extension

hello,

I have a small question if someone can help me, i have a spouse visa which is on new requirements and will be expire on dec 2017, i wanted to know for the extension the rule 18600 how does it work? as me and my wife are working do we both need to show only 6 months payslips and bank statements for 9300£?


please respond to my question i will be very thankful.

Yes. Joint earnings will qualify for the £18,600 minimum income level. NHS surcharge of £500 will have to paid in addition to the visa fee.

thank you casa for your response, wife and me are working less than the requirements right now but will be planning to work more to complete 6 months payslip and 9300£ is that right? or do we have to show 12 months 18600£?

If you have been in the same employment for the 6 months prior to submitting the application, then only the most recent 6 months payslips + bank statements showing £18,600 pro rata which would be as you thought, £9,300 between you.
