Submitting supporting documents

Post by VW101 » Sun Mar 27, 2016 3:13 pm

Hi

So far
Online application submitted: 18/03/2016
Bio-metrics done: 23/03/2016 (Kingston, Jamaica)

My question is I'm waiting on one letter from Jamaica to include in my supporting documents that I have to send to Sheffield. Please advise on how long I have to submit the documents.
(Bank holiday period will show down this letter arriving - would like to know the 'cut off' date)

Thanks

What letter are you waiting for from Jamaica?

You should submit the supporting documents as soon as possible. You risk refusal if they are not sent and the visa is processed without the supporting documents.

Thank you for your reply.

I was going to post documents on 31/03/16 or 01/04/2016 as the letter should arrive 31/03/16. Its part of my supporting documents that I sent to Jamaica as I thought it was needed at the bio-metric appointment.

I read somewhere that you have 30 days from submitting the application or 2 weeks from the bio-metric appointment to submit supporting documents (whichever is sooner). Have you or anyone else heard of this?
