Sent fax to arrange courier on 19 Sep, 2007, they sent mail saying decision was already made and my documents were already dispatched using Airmail on 19th MORNING... :(

Confirmed over phone that HSMP is granted successfully. although happy to get HSMP, i am late to sent fax to arrange courier....

my advice to all is to mention to arrange courier in cover letter itself... i missed this part somehow...

Following are some useful things for the grp members.

1) Payment through DD (Appling from India)
2) NARIC letter included.
3) I have masters degree, however I have lost my original bachelors degree certificate. In cover letter i mentioned that, the degree certi re-issued with "duplicate" written on it. also sent transcript.
4) my ITR was in english but stamped in hindi, NO english translation letter sent.
5) I was not given earning letter from employer, bank stmt submitted..letter from employer stating salary credited to so and so acct number in abc bank submitted... stamped and signed payslip submitted...
6) for english, submitted letter from university as well as from affiliated college where i attended the engineerig course.

hope this is useful...

thanks members for all yr help... this grp is fantastic...

HSMP Approved!

Post by divisionbell » Mon Dec 17, 2007 6:49 pm

I am really thankful to this extremely useful forum. I sent HSMP application on 3rd Dec by DHL. Payment was deducted from my CC on 5th Dec. I had indicated in my cover letter to notify me once my case is done so that I can arrange courier for documents return. However, I emailed them to check for reference number on 6th Dec. I got reply on 13th Dec to give me my reference number. It also stated that a decision was already made for my application and my documents had already been dispatched by Airmail on 11th Dec. I just received my documents today on 17th Dec with HSMP approval. Terrific processing speed indeed!!!

Hello Swapna..

Thank you for your reply.

Well I have posted them in Oct 2007, and

callled them in Jan 2008.

man on the phone said "waiting for response if we get then at end of this week." that's the line he told me.

I was scared of asking more question and now it's been 3 weeks .. still waiting..should I call them again ??

HSMP processing

Post by sinha.prashant2728 » Tue Jan 29, 2008 7:05 pm

Hi,

I had posted my application on 8th Jan.
Application received on 11th Jan.
Credit Card charged on 14th Jan.
I haven't received any reference number till today.
I called them on 25th Jan and they gave me a reference number for application fees charged and told me that the application is not yet allocated.

Is this normal, or should I call them again around say 1st week of Feb

Thanks,
Prashant

Prashant,

I too sent my application during the same period as yours. I came to know from UK office that they are processing the application related to last week of december so we have to wait for another 2 to 3 weeks.

Hi Parmar,

I applied in Late November 2007, and i am still awaiting a decision on my application.

I have sent 2-3 mails since November last one being in 3rd week of january, and the resposne is standard. " Your application is unders consideration, but the decision will made on it soon" This is the same response i get everytime i mail them

I am not tracking it now. Just praying that they don't loose my Certificates.

But be in touch as i think you and i are in same boat.

Making entry into UK

Post by Lavanya » Thu Mar 27, 2008 10:15 am

Hi All ,

I got my HSMP approved on 1st week of January 2008 .
Applied for EC - 14th Jan
EC Stamped on Passport From - 23rd Feb

So in this case is there any minimum number of days within which I have to make an entry into UK , since I was planning to move there on April but due to some reasons it is getting postponed to June 1st week .

So is there any time frame to make a initial entry or I can make an entry at anytime in the 2yr period mentioned .

Regards,
Lavanya

Hi All

I sent in my application on the 17th of March 2008 and received an e-mail on Wednesday 27 March with my reference number.

But in the meantime, one of the people I listed on my employers contact list has gone on extended leave of absence. So i have sent the HSMP team an e-mail with new contact information but they had an automated response basically saying they're super busy and won't respond to the mail. I will fax the details through to them later today and hope that it will be enough. :?

I submitted my app

Post by https » Thu Apr 03, 2008 10:56 am

I submitted my application at the beginning of March, and the money is charged on 4th March, and I've been given a reference number and confirmed they received my app on 6th March.

However I haven't received the results yet. it's four weeks already!

I have seen from their website that they received too many applications and it will take longer that their service standard.

If there is anyone applying at the similar time and received the results, please do let me know....... Thanks! coz I have no idea when i can get it and cannot move on
