Flrm documents

Post by aman505 » Sun Apr 10, 2016 4:07 pm

Hi

We are due to apply for my wifes visa extension soon. We will be using my payslips and bank statements to meet the financial requirements.

So I was wondering if we still need to provide my wife's 6 months bank statements. I wanted to use her bank statements spread across the 2 year period to prove we have been living together rather than using them to meet financial requirement. My wife doesn't have many bills on her name so wanted to use bank statements as correspondence evidence.

Would this cause any issues if we dont submit last 6 months bank statements of my wife?

No, not if you are relying solely on your income. The proof of joint address doesn't necessarily need to be bills. It can be any correspondence with your name/names and address.

I think what hes asking on the point of if he submits this wifes bank statements (for last 6 months) for evidence of financial requirement can he use them for part of the evidence of correspondence as well?

Yes, of course he can, but my understanding is that he is asking if he is required to submit his wife's bank statements for proof of income and would prefer not to have to do so.

Hi

Yes I just want to use her statements as correspondance proof.

She's not working due to our little daughter and we hardly use her bank account to pay anything.

We use my bank account to pay for all the bills etc. and obviously my pay also goes into my account. So is it pointless to submit last 6 months bank statements of my wife?

I prefer to use it as one of the items of correspondance spread over last 2 years. Is this acceptable?
