Spouse Visa - Financial Requirement

Post by juganj » Thu Apr 14, 2016 12:20 am

Hi there,
I wonder if any one can help. I have been working for my employer for a year now, I started on the 9th of march 2015 and have salary slips for 12 months with a recent salary slip of 31/03/2016. On last salary slip it states my gross pay up to date is £19,400. but in the 12 months there was a gap in income for 1 month as I was on unpaid leave for a month. Can I still apply for a spouse visa for my wife as my gross for the year is above £18600, or do they go of the last 6 months salary.

Which month was the unpaid?

You have to submit most recent 6 months payslips. I the month unpaid is within that 6 months, suggest you wait another month for a payslip.
