Hi,
Last week, I submitted the applications and documents for myself, my wife and my son (aged 9) through JCAP (Joint Citizenship And Passport) scheme in Dartford. We all got ILR in 5 years route last year.
But I have one query in the birth certificate of my son. He was born in India and the mother's name's initial is misspelt in the certificate. Instead of initial 'L' it is 'R', which I never noticed until at the NCS. The lady had asked me to fill in why it is not correct and give explanation in page 31. Since we got his Indian passport soon after his birth, we had mother's and father's names correct in his passport then.
I have written in page 31 of MN1 as, the mother's name in birth certificate should have initial 'L' instead of 'R', but we left as is but have it correct in his passport.
Could anyone please let me know if this would be an issue? I am really worried about his application.
Thanks,
Ramanthan PL
