Registering UK born 9 months old child as British Citizen

Post by stariq2008 » Fri Apr 22, 2016 8:30 am

I and My Mrs got ILR approved last week.

My daughter was born here last year in UK and since then has never left UK.

I'm preparing to register her as British since we (her Parents) have got ILR.

Documents:
Daughter's Birth certificate
Father's ILR BRP
Marriage certificate?
MN1 Form

Please confirm or if i've missed anything.

MN1 Section 2: even though she has never left UK i just filled as much as possible like her arrival date in uk is her birth date. address she has been since her birth.

section3: left blank
section4: left blank as she is only 9 months old
section6: biometric 6.1 i said no and then 6.12 no

referees: fathers accountant and mother driving instructor as GP /nurse refused to do it as they are saying she had to be registered for at least 2 years.

Please advise. i was planning to go via NCS but the date im getting is after 2 months so decided to apply myself.

Many Thanks

Don't forget payment form.

 Include a pre-paid, self-addressed Special Delivery envelope for safe return of documents.

Suggest keep scans/copies of all documents and form (& payment form) - for your reference.

You can go to another NCS if local council is fully-booked; NCS is very useful if you have travel plans and/or to keep hold of original documents.
