I am a UK national and want to move my parents to UK. My parents have been granted a single entry French visa for 68 days I have read the threads on this forum about singh route but they are mostly about spouses.

My questions are:

1) Can I apply for residence in France for my parents as they only have a 68 days visit visa?

2) How long does the residence take to process in France?

3) Will my parents be granted an extension in their visa while the residence is being processed?

Yes I am residing in France for the last 2 years and have a good income. Employment, income and length of residence are not a problem for me. One of my parent is 65years old. They need financial help which I am giving since last 4-5 years and they don't have anyone to care for them now in their country (Pakistan) so I want to move them with me. At the moment I am in France but I may move to the UK after some time so it would be great if i could get SS for them.
