Hi

I didn't because I applied before the 5th of April. If you read the post above by CR001, he mentioned that it will be necessary to get NARIC assessment if applying after the 5th of April.
He is a moderator who makes a lot of posts, I would imagine he is right although I haven't personally seen anything about it on the UKVI website.

Thanks Driver for quick reply, yes I respect CR001 opinion and status on this forum, only thing I am confuse is NARIC is to assess the overseas qualification if its equivalent to UK qualification, but since my qualification is from UK so doesn't make sense? CR001 I will appreciate your comments here.

Thanks geriatrix, I can see and understand that since its UK degree it doesn't make sense to get the assessment. However CR001 and Drivers comments confused me.

Make sure your tax matters are in order. If there have been any discrepancies in the past years then those have been sorted before applying for settlement.
Any employment / self-employment contrary to those prescribed under the immigration rules for the category you have been in during these 10 years (e.g. - currently Tier 2)?

Two key areas that HO is putting a lot of effort in these days to verify.

Thanks geriatrix for your suggestions. what kind of discrepancies as I was never on Tier 1 and never required to show income for any VISA, did some self employment during my PSW but that was it, I was on Tier 4 then PSW and now Tier 2 from 2013, what should I look for as my all tax paid from my employments?

Do you owe any tax from any of your self-employment while on PSW? Did you submit self-assessment tax returns?
(Casa, not CR001)
Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

Yes submitted tax returns and ceased as well, no tax was due so nothing paid.

Well, there are dodgy employers in this world - an example!
Did you cease self-employment on / before the day you received LTR as a Tier 2 migrant? You don't want UKVI to see a self-employment tax return on your record while you were on Tier 2!!

My employers were always like ASDA, Premier inn before. for my Tier 2 employer IS good as well.

Ceased self employment after few months of Tier 2,however there was no income just loss but I did not claim loss to reduce my employment tax.
