Traveling to India and Passport expiring holding ILR

Post by rbob » Mon May 02, 2016 9:56 pm

We are planning to visit India during the August and return UK by end of the Aug.
1. My wife is currently on ILR, holding Indian passport which is expiring Nov this year.
2. My Kid on British passport with OCI and with British Passport that needs to be renewed by Nov this year.

Since we are coming back by end of Aug, it shouldn't be a problem in bookings and immigrations.
Please can any one suggest is that would be fine?

You will have a valid Indian passport on the day you travel to India so no one at Indian immigration will stop you from entering India.
You have a valid Indian passport and a valid UK visa (BRP) upon leaving India and entering UK, so no one at either Immigration Desks will stop you from leaving India and entering UK.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
