Visitor visa - Employment and Income Section help

Post by saamisolutions » Wed May 04, 2016 11:31 am

I am preparing to apply visitor visa for my parents.

My father is retired and has 5 lakhs in fixed deposit and 3 lakhs in savings account and he does not receive any pension or other income. My mother is a house wife and she has no income.

In the Income section questions
Q: Do you have savings, properties or other income, for example from stocks and shares?
Should I say 'yes'? If I say 'yes' it asks me the below question in tabular form

Total Monthly Income From Amount in GBP(£)

It is asking for monthly income. How should I enter monthly income for a Fixed deposit and a monthly income for savings account?

Any help to answer this question is much appreciated.

Fixed deposits are not accepted as proof of funds. Any bank account used but be immediately accessible.

Thanks for the reply.

I am sponsoring for their visa and I will fill the rest of the questions like
Q: What is the cost to you personally of your trip in GBP(£)? - NA
Q: The total amount of money you have for this trip - NA
Q: The cost of the aeroplane, boat or train tickets - NA
Q: The cost of your accommodation - NA
Q: The cost of your living expenses - NA
Q: Is someone other than you paying for all or a part of your trip? - 'Yes'
Q: How much will they be paying towards your trip (in GBP £)? - £1500

But for the other question - 'Do you have savings, properties or other income, for example from stocks and shares?' How should I enter the monthly income from savings account - They are asking 'Monthly' income should I calculate the savings account interest which is 4% for 3 lakhs and says INR 1000.00 (£10.5) or should I say the whole 3 lakhs(£3158)? or should I say no income at all?

Let me know if I my question is not clear.

Any help to answer this question is much appreciated.
Q: Do you have savings, properties or other income, for example from stocks and shares?

As my father has a savings account, property(land investment) & FD. If I answer 'Yes' for the question the sub question asks for 'Monthly Income' how do I describe a monthly income for a savings account or a property(like a piece of land)?

Please correct me if my understanding is wrong about this question.
