Hi folks,
I have lost my passport on my last travel, I was in UK already, I might have lost in toilet or restaurant at the Manchester airport
I have applied for EEA FM on 13/03/2016
I have already done biometrics and I've also received my COA.
I have two urgent travels:
Barcelona 20/05 and be back on 22/05
Brazil 05/06 and be back on 19/06
I am a bit worried about not getting in to UK again, I had on my previous lost passports 2 olds EEA FP and a EEA2 I issued for 5 years time, but as I have lost my passport I don't have it anymore.
I got still a copy of my residence card EEA2, and I'm waiting the decision of case worker.
I have send a email with my intention to travel and got a replied from them:
Thank you for your email.
I can confirm that processing times for EEA residence documents is six months from the date your application was received. Home Office records indicate that your application was received on 13th March 2016 therefore your application currently falls within the published service target of six months.
Please note that cases are dealt with in date order queue awaiting consideration from the caseworker, hence the reason why a time scale of 6 months from date of application is given.
It is also advised that applicants do not make any urgent travel plans whilst their application is pending with the Home Office. You are able to request the return of your documents at any time using the link below.
https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outrea ... ments.ofml
If you are required to travel whilst your application is outstanding you are able to leave the United Kingdom and apply for an Entry Clearance Visa as the family member of an EEA national prior to returning to the United Kingdom.
I can confirm that everything is in order regarding your application for a residence card. Your application is currently awaiting allocation to a case working team for consideration. You will be notified of the decision in writing in due course.
If you wish to discuss this further, please contact our European Contact Centre:http://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi/european-nationals
Thank you
Matthew
The problem is: I won't have time to apply for a EEA FP as it takes 15 working days, and in my travel to Brazil I will only have 12 working days.
Do you guys think I will have problems to enter in back to UK only carrying passport, marriage certificate, my college badge and the COA?
Should I make a letter to send to home office with intentions to travel and it might speed up the process ? Because on my EEA2 I asked my husband ID card and it speed up the process, they have in 5 days time send back everything with the visa issued in passport.
Or should I try to speak with agent on my travel to Barcelona to see if they could issue a 1A Stamp?
I'm Brazilian national, I don't need visa for schengen, I will enter Barcelona with my German residence card (lived 3 years there)
Thank you very much for reading.
