Regarding Date of birth cert in Indian embassy London

Hi all,

I have query regarding D.O.B ,I am Indian national presently in UK and I am marrying Italian national in Italy. For doing civil marriage I need some documents from Indian embassy to process further. I have no idea what documents needed from Indian embassy ,as I know I need DOB cert from Indian embassy. Is anybody know we can get DOB cert from Indian embassy and other documents to proceed. I call Indian embassy they said I need to get one from India which is taking lot of time to process further. What are the alternatives and other documents I need,please reply me on this really confused.Hope to hear from you all.
