JCAP NCS passport fee not deducted yet

Hi All,

Apologies if this is a repetition of previously asked query. I have the following timeline. My only concern is, passport fees are not taken yet. Looking onto various members timeline, the passport fees are usually deducted within the first week after Naturalisation fees deduction. Is this normal, that the passport fees are not yet taken?

Language criteria met: LIUK + UK Research Degree
Method of application: NCS Brent JCAP
Date of application: 01/04/2016
Payment method: Debit Card
Date of receipt by UKBA: 04/04/2016
Date of acknowledgement: 30/30/2016
Date money gone off account: 22/04/2016
Date of letter requesting biometrics: 30/04/2016 (dated 28/04/2016)
Biometrics done: 30/04/2016

I dont think there is a problem. It is busy time for the Home office and people are experiencing delay in fees deduction. At least you have done yoir biometrics

I have seen a couple of members on the forum who've experienced something similar, from memory what I recall them doing was calling the JCAP NCS explaining the situation who in tern called the HO on their behalf to find out what they could. In those instances I believe HMPO made the passport fee deduction soon after that.

You could try the same, however as over 2 months has lapsed since your AN fee deduction, not sure if that would be an option. In which case you'll probably need to wait patiently until your application is approved and enquire then. Another alternative would be for you to call HMPO directly with your passport app tracking number and explain the situation to see what they say.
