Tier 1 Entrepreneur Extension - Partner got ILR

Dear Members,

I am new on this forum but I am reading all your posts on regular basis. It is very helpful for all of us to share our experiences and raise relevant questions.

I have a question here and hope members will give me right information.

I am tier 1 Entrepreneur visa since May 2014 - PSW 50 K route. My Extension is due in May 2017. My Business Partner got his ILR on 10 years long residency but he is still Director in the company.

Will his ILR effect on my extension? coz when I will go to submit my application so they will ask about team member.

If you have any information related to this so please share your opinions.

As long as you have invested 50K, and running a proper business with two equivalent full time job created. U will be fine

If other director has got ILR, there is no problem.

Its upto you, if you mutually agree to remove him from directorship.
You can employ him as a normal employee, not director if you want.
That will be considered as job created for settle person.

When did your other director get ILR ?

Thank you for you reply. Can I claim points if he still remain in company as a director? or it is mandatory if i remove him from Directorship and then employee him.

Currently he is working in the company 30 hrs / week.

its better to remove him from directorship and make an employee.
Same is the case with me , my partner got ILR, I have removed her from Directorship
and made her a normal employee.

You can be only director then, I'd suggest you to transfer all shares into your name.

Hi,

If i remove him from directorship means we break entrepreneur team. At the time of initial application we showed both are partner and has equal right of access funds. 25K each. What I am doing I am transferring 25K from my account and 25k from his account.
