Appeal - form IAFT-5

Post by Malaajam » Sun May 15, 2016 5:35 pm

Hello,

My husband made an application under FLR (FP) Parent 10 Year Route. We have received a refusal and the home office have incorrectly said that we 'instructed them to consider him under the Parent and Private Life Route', which is what the refusal is based on. We have a strong case, I'm British and our two children are British. My husband is from the Yemen, and if he fail under Article 8 he should at least be considered under humanitarian protection due to the deteriorating situation and war in his home country. We have been given the right to appeal within 14 days from the refusal dated 11/05/16.

Can anyone assist with the appeal form IAFT-5.
What can we do? any ideas how on what we base the appeal on and can we do the appealing by ourselves?

Would be great to hear back from anyone with the same or similar situation but all help and advice is appreciated.

Many thanks

To avoid confusion & jumbled responses, I have moved your question to its own thread (this one).

Sorry to hear that. Can you kindly share your husband's immigration history, I recently applied for flr fp as a partner.. My partner is British and we have a child together. I want to know what are the Home Office reasons for your refusal. Why didn't you applied for spouse visa or flr (m) since you are married to him.
