Tier 1 Dependents and visa extension

Dear All,

Many thanks to all the people on this forum for great help.

My question is regarding my wife and son who are currently having tier-1 dependent visa expiring end of May 2016.

My application for ILR is with UKVI for last 2 months on the base of 10 years long residence.

1- Under which category my family will need to apply(application form) for extension in case of not receiving a decision from UKVI before June 2016.

2-Under good news scenario, will my family members are eligible for ILR as they have been in UK since 2011 as dependents and which application form apply?

3- Under worst case scenario, Under which category my family will need to apply(application form) for extension and what will be the status of my family while exercising right of appeal etc?

I have phoned UKVI and they have advised to apply for tier 1 dependent extension as settlement has not been decided yet.any comments.thank you
