If you qualify for citizenship you must have lived in UK 3 years or more.Saladin0011 wrote:Hello good people.
I should be almost on end of my looooong was towards BC but now I have big problem. I don't now anyone who is professional and who I know for more than 3 years + who i willing to be my referee.
What should I do?? Or am I doomed until I will make friend for 3 years?
Part of demonstrating that you have fully integrated into British culture and society is that fact that you have established such ties. This is considered a 'qualification' for citizenship. So you may have to just face the fact that you don't qualify quite yet.Saladin0011 wrote:Hello good people.

A manager of a VAT-registered or a limited company is acceptable.Saladin0011 wrote:Well...
We have a nurse at work but she turned me down today because she feels that she don't know me close enough. Then we have managers but they do it because they were promoted into this positions during years of service and not because of their qualification.
Now I don't know if they are eligible to be my professional referee or not.
Ok, I will ask. Only thing is. I am working in Special needs school where we have several houses and each house has House Manager, above them is senior leadership then Principal and CEO. Because we were sold and now we have new CEO, senior leadership and Principal only House managers know me for over 3 years. This managers were promoted up from caregiver positions so they are not qualified managers in its sense. Can they still be my referees?noajthan wrote:A manager of a VAT-registered or a limited company is acceptable.Saladin0011 wrote:Well...

HO do not follow uop on all referees as a matter of course.
And, if they do, and any referee is found to be unsuitable they will simply write and ask you to nominate another candidate.
Suggest try one of those managers, they do not have to be your BFF.
