Spouse visa letter from employer

Post by many83 » Tue May 31, 2016 3:16 pm

I have been issued a employement letter from my manager on the company letter head. It is printed out from a normal colored printer in a A4 papper with all the correct information and my manager contact details and he also signed the letter.

Will this be accepted as it is printed on normal A4 paper with company logo and adress and my manager signed it.

What else would it be printed on? :?
(Casa, not CR001)

Lolzzz......u r write my fault..didnt made it clear.. i meant is it suppose to b printed on like high quality paper like but thick and that crisp touch and feeling...papers that have company logo from prntng press not from normal prntr. Watermark papers??.

OR simple A4 simple plain thin paper with company logo prntd from inkjet prntr would b acceptable??

I meant that you know we get a normal A4 quality paper which we use at home for normal printing. That paper is used.

Also a company logo has been copy and pasted on a word document and it was then printed out by an ordinary printer.

It was then signed by my manager. this letter was not on a high quality like watermark paper. It didnt look too official but signed and issued by my area manager. It has company logo and adress and VAT register details at the footer.

Will this be accepted.

Why you are making mountain out of a molehill?

There is no guideline about using specific expensive soft thick paper for employment letter lol

Its enough as long as its on company headed paper and mention the informations required

Many83,

I've printed my letter from employer on an ordinary piece of A4, signed by my Division Manager and authorised by HR Dept.

If you really think it will create an issue, then just ask your HR Dept to print one on a high-quality paper or buy one and give it to them in case they don't have one.

But to be honest, the company letterhead letter with the information required is sufficient.

Thanks arthur.

My letter is also signed by my area support manager but not authorised by HR.

What do u mean when u say ur letter was authorised by HR

Mine was just signed and thats it. The letter does have HR contact onformation and my manager contact info.

I do not need to stamp it ...do i??

no, you don't need to stamp it as it printed on the company headed paper (you mentioned it earlier).

Ok thanku...i thought when i said that u authorised ur letter from HR ..u meant u got it stamped. .....i hve sent my wife application lets seee wat happens now. No way bak now..i have sent that employement simple normal letterr of employment.

My wife is living with me since 2007....latest she was my tier 1 dependant and now after my set(lr) indefinite i sent her spouse visa.

We have 2 kids and loooong relationship.

But i didnt attach any tenancy agreement as i dont have one and old one is expired 4 years b4 but never renewed and my tenancy is like rolling contract.

By not sending tenancy agreemnt will there b a problem. Was this compulossry to send.

What documents you PROVIDED for accommodation ?

you still need to provide some( if not all ) of these documents listed below even if your wife is living with you for longer
period

Land Registry documents
mortgage statements
rent book or tenancy agreement
council tax statements
property inspection report
utilities bills
accommodation details with a supporting letter from the occupant/ landlord confirming that you are able to stay there”

I have only filled up the accommodation section stating that we live in a 2 bedroom house and thats it.

I live in a rented property and actually living at the same adress since my wife got her last PBS dependant visa.

I provided few proof of adresses like DVLA, HMRC letters, NI number letter, GP letters, bank statements... in my and my wifes name.

You should have read what is required as a evidence for accommodation. Tenancy agreement is basic requirement beside all these utilities bill, council tax etc . Documents you mentioned about dont tell anything about your property whether its flat, house, shared house, how many rooms , what is rent, your ownership etc

What you should suggest now..Will the visa will be refused or will they ask for the tenancy agrement b4 making a decision.

Shall i send them a letter from my landlord with a cover letter that i forgot to send it originally stating that i can live in the accommodation. OR what else you suggest??

I have clearly mentioned about what documents are required and if you did not sent them before then try to send them now with covering letter and also mention UKVI reference and application reference number so they send it to the case workers dealing with your application

Whats the problem to renew this old tenancy agreement? Its four year old document which is already expired so its not valid
