Hi,
I have a question regarding a Stamp 4 visa for a De facto partner of an Irish Citizen (and mother of a non-born in Ireland Irish citizen).
I am Colombian and I will arrive to Ireland soon with my son to live with my partner there. I would like to know what documentation i need to show to get the Stamp 4 when I’m there, how long it will take till if issued and if it’s hard to get.
Important things to know:
-We are not married, we don’t have any accounts or property together.
-What we do have is evidence that we lived in Australia together for 6 months (stamps in passports, pictures), evidence that we lived together in Colombia together for almost 2 years (we have receipts to the same address, his Colombian visa issued as my partner, photos with my family, with his family visiting us here, and last but never less we have a beautiful 7 month son together). Our baby was born in Colombia but he will travel with and Irish passport, so he won’t need a visa.
My boyfriend traveled back to Ireland last week to get a job and a place for us to live, I’ll go in 2 months and I’m worried I might get the Stamp 4 denied as i don’t have sufficient funds to show and we don’t have the evidence I’ve read they ask for like joint accounts, property, etc.
Someone has been in the same situation? Would it help a little that we have a son together and he has Irish citizenship?
Will be enough the stamps on passports and photos?
Thanks in advance for your help!
