Need Advise to stay in the UK

Post by rameshssvp » Sat Jun 04, 2016 8:20 am

Hi All,

I am currently on a tier 4 student visa, can someone advise me on how to switch to tier 2, I have a masters degree from Trent University and I am currently employed at Subway.
Also can anyone help me find a sponsor in the science sector, I am ready to work for FREE. I just need the experience. I live in Nottingham at the moment.
Any help from fellow human beings would be much appreciated.

Cheers!

Apply for Jobs. Interview for jobs. Get jobs. You must have a sponsor and the job must be deemed to be a 'graduate level' position. As you are currently on a Tier 4, you will not need to pass the RLMT.

Subway will not cut it - unless perhaps you work for corporate at Subway..?

Working for free is not an option (though I would recommend an internship while still on a Tier 4 to gain experience) as you will need to meet a salary threshold for the job.

Have you started with HO guidance on Gov UK website, also current T2 Sponsor list?

You cannot work for free as that would be voluntary work and would not met visa criteria nor get you through RLMT.

RLMT is not required for Tier 4 to Tier 2 G as far as I am aware. Nothing has changed in this regard to the best of my knowledge.

List of Tier 2 Sponsors in the link below.

Char (CR001 not Casa)
