I am in the UK on a Tier 2 Visa since March 2013 and I applied for an extension in December. On 27th of January I got a letter from the UKVI saying my application was refused as the previous decision was wrong. In my previous application, I had used a job code for a NQF level 4 job and they approved it and gave me a visa and never notified me during the 3 years. In those 3 years, the home office also did a check with my company and approved it and they also approved my wife's dependant visa application. I applied for an admin review for the refusal, but that too came back saying rejected. Since then my company has advertised a post for 28 days and I have reapplied on 17th of March 2016 through lawyer. I got the letter for biometrics on the 7th of May and then no further response. I have not been able to get in touch with my lawyer either.
2 questions:
1. I called the home office for an update and they said a 'package' has been sent to my legal rep on the 12th of May which was received on the 16th of May and is signed for. But unfortunately I still have no news (09 June). The lawyer is saying it shows his office received the letter, but cant track it. What can I do?
2.My company also got a letter from Immigration Enforcement on 19 May that their records show I am not eligible to work- does that mean that the decision was a refusal again which is why this letter was sent?
Many thanks.
