separated 3 children flr (fp) application

Hi,

This week I will be applying for FLR (fp) 5 year family life as parent as I am separated from my wife for about 2 years now, we are not divorce as yet. Previous application was based on wife and kids, I wanted to know:

- Do I need to add my childrens or wife's passport to the application?.
- Children are British Citizens, so am I right in saying they are not dependants?.
- Does anyone have any examples of what proof of family life are need and dated how far back?.
