Permit for baby of ILR parents, IHS refund

Hi,

Our baby was born in India. We applied for his settlement visa. He arrived in the UK on 17the May.
Visa was valid for only a month. He should be getting a permit. How long does it take for the permit to arrive? Whom can I contact to enquire about it?

Also, can I ask for IHS refund? If no, I would be applying for our UK citizenship in few months. After that can I apply for IHS refund?

Are you referring to the BRP? This should be collected within 10 days of your arrival from the Post Office in the UK which you have designated in your application.

Yes, I am asking about that. I was waiting for a letter or some notification. So I can simply go there and collect it. I can do it on my son's behalf and he need not be taken there?

You just need to collect it. It may be best to take your son with you.
