Is continous residency broken if i left the country on the 31st of march and re entered on the 27th of september. I am calculating 179 days of absence. I dont know if it is right to leave the days i travelled out and the day i returned. Thanks

What are you applying for? You don't count the day of departure or the day of arrival back in the UK.

Ok thanks. This clarifies my question. I am Planning to apply for ilr long residence and only noticed that this episode of absence was very long. So i am correct to say continous residency was not broken with this. Thanks
