If you were convicted at Court (or please guilty to the magistrates by post) then you have a conviction which must be declared.

Even though its not a criminal conviction, just write it there! I was once reported to the court for driving with no insurance and valid license. I went to court, won the case 8) and i got no point but had a 100 quid fine which I paid.. I still declare it on my visa renewal forms! No problem..
IMpossible is 2 letters to long!

Being found guilty at court does result in a criminal conviction I'm afraid.

Hey guys,

I was convicted of a motoring offence in Western Australia. It was for driving a car un-registered, essentially I just forgot to pay the license transfer fee when I bought a new car. It resulted in a $150 fine, in fact I can even remember the judge more or less saying "um why are you here?"

I live in the UK now on a Tier 2 visa and so naturally my application was successful.
I've also been into the Schengen area twice recently.

Hopefully that helps with some of the above questions.

I wonder if anyone has any thoughts on this for possible US or Canadian visits in the future?
