How To use Naturalisation Residency Calculator?

Post by J_Karim » Wed May 25, 2016 1:22 am

I am married to a E.U citizen and holding E.U stamp 4.
I want to apply for citizenship based on 5 years residency.
My query about how to use Naturalization Residency Calculator by justice letter not by passport androssment.
Like in detail what date to what date I have to input it as first stamp date from to date to.
In my first letter it mentioned that they receive my letter on 13/07/2011 and it was signed on
14/07/2011 and this letter was covered till 12/01/2012. As every one knows INIS issue a first letter for 6 month. After 6 month of successful residency INIS
issued a second letter.
And second letter is was issued (signed )19/01/2012 to expired on GNIB 19/01/2017.
Can any one please explain how to use in residency checker while someone wants to use date by justice letter, because i am about to lodge citizenship application and what exact date i should apply.

any advice will be much appreciated.

Hi Friend :)

I can read this from calculator page :
only enter qualifying stamps e.g. Stamp 1, Stamp 4

you first six month was stamp 4 on you passport and your 5 years was stamp 4 as well and you can see on you passport it;s just written stamp 4 no temp stamp 4 .
Because it's just a stamp you are also allow to work or whatever . you need to remember that in this forum most people didn't 5.5 yeat like us. most of us them got plain 5 year as per my understanding t. it used to be 6 months then you get a card with 4.5 year more.

so there's not difference they are all stamp and should all count based on this you can apply 5-6 month before you five years expire because you would then 4.5 year + 0.5 intial

Please apply and make sure you confirm this here
