Event Management Buisness for 50k route

Hi all, Is Event Management with speciality in Decorations is valid as a business for 50K route extension? Bare in mind that when I applied for the visa in 2013 I showed my business of Recruitment Agency but it did not work out and now I am doing Event Management Business and want to show my 50K investment on this business. I am working as a Business Development Manager which is above level 4.

We cannot comment on the nature or line of work you do. As long as you are working as a genuine entrepreneur and do not break any of the immigration rules, you should be fine.
HO can question you on your choices of business or line of work and ask you to attend an interview if required.

I am fine with the interview because I am doing the business genuinely and answer all the related questions, only doubt I have in my mind is that can we change the business on PSW route?

There is nothing in the rules as far as I see that see you cannot. There is only that NQF requirement which only applies during the initial application.

Related to your question. this is what i point out from SOC code guideline how to use

When we refer to „we‟ or „us‟ in this document we mean the Home Office. When we refer to „you‟ or „your‟
this means the sponsor in the case of Tier 2 or Tier 5 migrants, or the employer supporting the
application for settlement in the case of work permit holders. In the case of post-study workers switching to Tier 1 (Entrepreneur), the references to recruiting for jobs will not be relevant, but the code of practicemust still be used by applicants to check that they are working at the necessary skill level (National Qualification Framework (NQF) 4 or above ).


So anyone please answer which will be helpful for us.

Does that statement means does who qualify through 50k route should maintain its business within NQF level 4 or above through out extension
Can they still be allowed to do other business side by side which are below NQF Level 3 or not or is it considered as breach of rule

YES u can invest money to any other business and claim point whatever it is lower or upper level. NQF level does not matter after u getting ur initial E visa(50k). Lot of members r confused here about this tropic.
Its not my opinion, export got the prove and evidence.
Last week i been to one of the London based law farm called xxxxxx and paid them £420 and consulted with them about same tropic. they told me yes and shown me about home office letter and it clearly said Yes.
