Tier 2 General visa enquiry

Post by Chidhori001 » Thu Jul 14, 2016 5:45 am

My colleague is a registered nurse suspended by the NMC for a year.He was on a Tier 2 General visa so unfortunately the nursing home terminated his contract and reported to the Home Office. He was due to apply for ILR in November 2016..but could not apply due to the NMC referral as he kept on changing sponsors. He is from Africa and was wondering how he can stay in the country to do the trainings required by the NMC and obtain references in preparation for review at the end of his suspension.

All he could is, find another sponsor. Not sure how easy it could be considering his suspension.

If he is suspended by NMC then he is unemployable under Tier 2.

On top of that if he has has a training deficiency he can not be employed as a SRN because he does not qualify as an overseas nurse in training either under the SOC either.

Fairly hopeless situation.
