Hi All,
My wife applied for a visa at the end of May 2016 as dependent to join settled person (I have ILR).
For English language we gave original degree certificate (MCA) and medium of instruction letter from the university.
Yesterday we received an email from BDHC asking for NARIC letter and they want within 10 calender days and that they will take decision accordingly ("If we do not receive the documents by the date noted above a decision will be made on your application.").
Now we need to use Red route and use Visas and Nationality service but their turnaround time is 10 working days. My queries are as follows,
1. In general how long it takes for NARIC to provide this letter on red route. I have applied getting it delivered to UK address. I already checked with NARIC and there is no fasttrack option available for this service (only available for blue route for now).
2. I have replied to the email from BDHC (attached NARIC application confirmation) and requested for some additional time as NARIC itself takes 10 working days. Waiting for their reply, has anyone done this and actually got a reply and extended time?
3. Also called UKVI and provided application details and they took my request and are escalating to the case worker so that some additional time can be provided.
Has anyone been in this kind of situation?
What are the chances that they reply/allow some additional time? and do they simply reject if they don't get that document by that date?
Could someone please share their experience? really worried as refusal means another application and more time.
