Thanks Jambo. i actually saw the information in the link you posted before my post but it was not very clear to me. sorry to bother you. can you please explain the statement below to me a bit. what will the residency period be, 3yrs or 5yrs? spouse/partner of British citizens can apply after 3yrs but i have never seen it anywhere the residency requirement of a child of British citizen that arrived before 18 and is now over 18Jambo wrote:See Q2 in Citizenship FAQs - Common Questions - Read before posting - Children.
Just to clarify, what happens in the case where the child already has ILR but only moves to the UK after 16; will their ILR remain in tact?
