Premium service for FLR (M)

Post by Max123123 » Wed Jul 27, 2016 9:43 pm

Hi guys,

Me and my girlfriend are looking to go through the the premium service for an FLR (M) visa in October. She is moving from a youth mobility visa to this.

Does anyone know when we would be able to book a date for the appointment as the govt website contradicts itself and says either 28 days before or 42.

Many Thank

Currently the majority of appointment slots only appear to be released 28 days in advance.

If you are applying as unmarried partners, do you have documented evidence of 2 years co-habitation in a relationship 'akin to marriage'? The junior level Case Workers at the PSC only have the authority to make a decision on straightforward applications which need no further verification.

Casa,

Thanks for you response. We will have lived for each other for 2 years akin to marriage on the day her Youth mobility visa runs out which is why we are very anxious about booking a specific date!

Providing you have all the documents showing joint address throughout the full 2 year period you should be good to go with a PSC appointment. Bear in mind the Case Worker will expect to see joint finances, tenancy agreement in both names, shared utility bills etc to prove the relationship is more than 'girlfriend and boyfriend' or two friends sharing accommodation.

I'm assuming you also meet the minimum income level of £18,600 p.a?

Currently the water bill and council tax are in both names and we are both on the tenancy agreement of the house we are renting. Yes we do meet the £18600 income threshold

All good then. If you're flexible with which PSC you attend you may find some release appointments earlier than others. Don't forget to pay the NHS surcharge of £500 in addition to the £1311 premium appointment visa fee.
