Discretionary leave to remain and student visa

Hi,

I have discretionary leave to remain for 30 months in the UK and I am a Sri Lankan citizen. I wish to study in Poland or Romania so can I still apply for student visa with my immigration status here?

I was granted DL because I am aged 18 years or above and under 25 years, and have spent at least half of my life living continuously in the United Kingdom.

Work is permitted but I have no access to public funds.

You will need to think about impact on your status in UK if you leave UK for several years.

Yes I have thought about it, I know it will be extremely difficult for me to renew my visa after 30 months but I have no other choice, but will they give me student visa under my immigration status here? I will be applying for student visa as a sri Lankan citizen living in the UK.

That will depend on domestic visa rules in Poland (or wherever).
