spain resident marrying a belgian..pls help me

im working and living here in spain for almost a year now. i have a residence and working permit..my question is that if i marry my partner, who is a belgian, whom im living with here in gran canaria, spain, can i get a permanent residency as a spouse of an e.u. citizen? i need your advice, pls..thanks so much..
