When were children born?
When did you acquire PR (status)?
When was PR card issued?
Were you/are you married to mother/s?
Are you named on birth certificates?
vinny wrote:Are any of the mothers married to someone else?
Difficult to understand your post. Are you saying that one of the mothers was married to someone else at the time of the child's birth?erunkulu2 wrote:vinny wrote:Are any of the mothers married to someone else?
My first was married while I'm married to the second lady involve.
Do you mean your PR card arrived last week?erunkulu2 wrote:*I want to make the application because of the price as it was changed from £700+ to £936.
* The eldest was born Oct/2015 and March/16
* last week (07/08/16).
* I was married to the second baby mother
* Yes, my name on both.
Yes my PR just arrived last week after both child was born.noajthan wrote:Do you mean your PR card arrived last week?erunkulu2 wrote:*I want to make the application because of the price as it was changed from £700+ to £936.

If so, when did you actually acquire PR status? Was it before or after the children were born?
Note That date of acquisition of status is different from the date you got a card - that card simply confirms such a status.

My card arrived on Saturday but I saw it on Sunday 7th of August. Sorry for the confusion.noajthan wrote:Do you mean your PR card arrived last week?erunkulu2 wrote:*I want to make the application because of the price as it was changed from £700+ to £936.

Your PR card is not really the most important factor.erunkulu2 wrote:Yes my PR just arrived last week after both child was born.noajthan wrote:Do you mean your PR card arrived last week?

Yes she was married to someone else when the child was bornCasa wrote:Also, while we have your attention can you confirm whether the mother of your first child was married to someone else when the child was born? This is crucial to whether you are recognised under British law to be the father.
I looked at the card now and it was actually issued on the 3rd of August . Before I got this PR I have retain right of resident over a year plus.noajthan wrote:Your PR card is not really the most important factor.erunkulu2 wrote:Yes my PR just arrived last week after both child was born.noajthan wrote:Do you mean your PR card arrived last week?

If the card came last week then you could have acquired the actual PR status around 6 months ago.
If you did and it was actually before the second child's birth then that child, at least, will be automatically British.
So its important to figure out when you acquired PR status (not just the card).
To figure out if you had PR status before child's DoB in March this year you will need to post your timeline.erunkulu2 wrote:I looked at the card now and it was actually issued on the 3rd of August . Before I got this PR I have retain right of resident over a year plus.
PR is not granted. It is acquired.erunkulu2 wrote:On my documents I received a letter stated that the PR was granted 22nd of July 2016. Is that what you mean about the timeline??? Sorry I don't get you properly. Please can you explain better.
Now you're getting somewhere.erunkulu2 wrote:My previous EEA has been exercising treaty rights way back in January 2010 up till we got divorced in 2014.
I have been exercising treaty rights since 2014
i sent it of February 2016.
Please i will like you to explain what to do if i eventually get the SAR request and how to understand what i need to look out for and what would you suggest if i have PR before i had my second child, what will be his status???
I will appreciate all this information. Thanks for your help???
Understood Casa. I only tried to clarify timings for if/when OP is recognised as the concerned parent.Casa wrote:@noajthan I don't believe the first child can be registered as a British citizen as it appears that he wasn't married to the child's mother and she was married to someone else when the child was born.
