EU travel entry requirment

Post by jamesthomaswebb » Sat Aug 13, 2016 8:42 pm

Hi all, hoping someone can help with my enquiry...

My wife and I have been married 6 years. I am a British citizen and she is currently on ILR. We want to book a hols to Spain but not sure what the requirment are. I have looked for the answers but most refer to an EEA family permit.. she has her UK issued Biometric recidency permit, is this treated the same

EEA Family Permit and UK BRP card is NOT the same thing.

She needs to apply for a Schengen visa.

What is her nationality?
Char (CR001 not Casa)

She is filipino. I've have come across lots of information about the schengen visa, I've also read that as long as she is travelling with myself (a british citizen) she is fine and won't need one... Hmm thank for your help though

#fail

Save yourself a world of pain.
Get a Schengen visa or spend your 'vacation' arguing with airline check-in clerks.
